NX Theatre

NXTheatre was founded by NX(Chi-Ling Liu), a Golden Melody Award winning composer and Merlin Award recipient in 2009. Hung-Hung, a well-achieved artist in many genres of arts is the creative consultant. It attracts many talents to create a “meta-theatre” with illusion, music, drama, dance, visual effects, acrobatics, and more.

“NXTheatre” was named using the word of “Next,” as to advance further with creative power. It aims to produce poetic and surprising illusion design, and to build a new style of shows for audience from both ends to appreciate.

[NXTheatre] is also the only crossover magic theatre in the world.

The opening show for the company was “One More Day with You,” a magic musical in 2010. The story and characters were taken from an illustrated story with the same title created by Jimmy Liao, an international known illustration story artist based in Taiwan. It incorporated with many incredible magical elements and a beautiful original music score. The production was something never being done before, and it was a completely new vision ever. The audience swarmed to get tickets, and it ran for 105 shows consecutively, which was a milestone for the creative industry in Taiwan. It received many recommendations from celebrities in arts and entertainment professional circles, and with more than 200 press exposures in many major media outlets.

[NXTheatre] respects the spirit of cross over and the originality very highly. With the core of a high-end magic theatre, it results constant collaboration and collision between different art forms; further, it transforms the performing space all together. By fixing the geographical location and the physical performing space, it continuously seeks for original and breaking-through possibilities in order to repositioning everything…

[NXTheatre] Over 5200 event appearances in theme parks, press conferences, and different occasions and venues. We have been hired by more than 200 companies. We also organize shows and tours collaborating with the government. We are known as the most active magic theatre.

Our rehearsal space is more than 330 square meters. We own more than 100 large props designed and created from Las Vegas. Together with new illusions created by NX (Chi-Ling Liu), the director of the company, the company has a sustainable and long-term performance running.

[NXTheatre] binds popular culture and creative art with magic, and it creates an entertainment classic with the originality of Taiwan. It will continue to be the one and only crossover magic theatre in the world. We firmly believe that this direction is a new possibility of performing art
